Using an RUO compound outside of in-vitro research is outside the scope of sale and outside the manufacturer's quality and liability framework.

A credible COA shows: HPLC purity (typically ≥98% for research-grade), mass spectrometry confirming the expected molecular weight, the manufacturing lot number, the test date, and the issuing lab. If a vendor cannot produce a per-batch COA — or only shows a generic specification sheet — treat the product as unverified.

How should research peptides be stored?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide is generally stable at -20 °C, protected from light and moisture, for the period stated on the COA. Once reconstituted in bacteriostatic water or another appropriate solvent, stability shrinks to days or weeks at 2–8 °C depending on the sequence. Always follow the storage and stability guidance on the specific COA — it is sequence-dependent.

Are research peptides the same as supplements or biohacking products?
